Kayak Tour through Mangrove Tunnels

When we arrived we had a very little wait time till we started out tour. In our tour it was just the 3 of us so it was more personalized. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable about the species that live in the mangrove and the history. Overall we had a blast and would do a tour again.

It was a cool experience but wouldnt recommend it if you havent ever kayaked before. Our guide really didn't provide much instruction at all even though we stated we were beginners. Felt left behind until we reached the mangroves where they became more helpful. Would highly recommend if you do have experience as it is exceptionally unique & amazing to experience. However, I would reconsider if you are brand new to a kayak.

Had a great time and a great guide. Easy, safe, and beautiful. Didn’t get to see any manatees, but still a good time.

My husband live close by, but did this tour for our anniversary. We both had a lot of fun and our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Everything was beautiful! You won’t be disappointed.

Very Pretty and educational tour, difficulty was much more geared to beginners. A great activity for anyone young or old. A little over priced though.

We decided to take our daughter (20 something) out because we had such a great time last month out with Phil. Well we got lucky and got him again! Second time was even better. Phil is very knowledgeable and knows how to make it fun. I would recommend this to everyone and I would ask for Phil.

We stayed in Siesta Key for a week and our kayaking tour through the Mangroves on Lido Key was one of the highlights of our trip! SURFIT did a great job getting us where we needed to be and on the water. The tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. Kayaking into those tunnels is like going into a different world. We got to hold upside down jellyfish, we saw birds, weird crab creatures, starfish and mussels and just felt like explorers. We stopped at a little beach, got a great family picture and did more exploring there and found a sea worm and crab. All of the kids (ages 7 (we had her in a two-man kayak with her dad), 17 and 20) had a great time and said it was one of their favorite memories of the trip!

Such a fun experience! Our guide, Chris, was awesome! Definitely worth it!! We didn’t get to see any big wildlife, but was still such a cool experience!!
